US Rebalancing Policy and China-India Relations, including maritime issues (by invitation only)

On Monday, December 16, Reflection Group China, the Center for Military Studies, and ThinkChina.dk are organizing an event at NIAS that examines the relations between the world's two most populous countries, in light of US foreign policy. Dr. Satu Limaye, a respected and well known international relations scholar will give a talk on “US Rebalancing Policy and the China-India Relations, including maritime issues” followed by a roundtable discussion.

Dr. Limaye was named director of the East-West Center in Washington in 2007. Prior to the appointment he worked with the Institute for Defense analyses in Alexandria, Va.  as a member of the research staff. He has published numerous books, monographs and studies on the security dynamics in Asia.

The seminar will take place on Monday, December 16, 2013, 15:00-17:00 at Nordic Institute of Asian Studies (CSS campus building 18, 1st floor).
