  • ASAA 2018
    The Sydney Southeast Asia Centre, School of Languages and Cultures and China Studies Centre are sponsoring ASAA 2018, to be held at the University of Sydney on 3-5 July next year with a postgraduate day and additional workshops on 2 July. 
    In keeping with Sydney’s focus on multidisciplinarity, the theme of the conference is “Area studies and beyond”. 
    Panel submissions are now open to close on 1 November 2017.

  • Funding of scientist exchange between India and Denmark within biotechnology

    Novozymes A/S & The Henning Holck-Larsen Fond offers in cooperation with The Technical University of Denmark, Aarhus University and University of Copenhagen an Exchange Program to facilitate the exchange of scientists between India and Denmark within the field of biotechnology. 

  • NIAS SUPRA Nordic Scholarship
    The SUPRA Nordic scholarship is one of the most important features of NIAS' Support Programme for Asian Studies. It is designed to make NIAS’ digital library and other resources accessible to PhD candidates and MA students in the Nordic countries. The scholarship covers inexpensive travel to and from Copenhagen and accommodation in a NIAS room at Nordisk Kollegium, with full board for a period of two weeks. Stays are subject to a time schedule administered by NIAS.
