    The 2019 SANR conference is hosted by Sasnet/Lund University, the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI), Stockholm, and SLU. SANR is an annual conference about all things South Asian.

    • NIAS SUPRA Nordic Scholarship
      The SUPRA Nordic scholarship is one of the most important features of NIAS' Support Programme for Asian Studies. It is designed to make NIAS’ digital library and other resources accessible to PhD candidates and MA students in the Nordic countries. The scholarship covers inexpensive travel to and from Copenhagen and accommodation in a NIAS room at Nordisk Kollegium, with full board for a period of two weeks. Stays are subject to a time schedule administered by NIAS.

    • Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK): Faculty and PhD Student Mobility Scheme
      Chinese University of Hong (CUHK) has issued two calls for applications aimed at the promotion of the development of the academic and research partnerships between CUHK and UCPH:

      Internationalisation Faculty Mobility Scheme – For Faculty Members
      Academics can undertake research visits at CUHK under the support of this scheme
      Who: Full-time academic staff from any discipline
      When: One week between 1 August 2019 and 31 July 2020
      Support: Hotel/on-campus accommodation will be provided for up to seven nights

      Global Scholarship Programme for Research Excellence - For PhD Students
      The programme supports your PhD students to undertake short-term research attachments at CUHK.
      Who: Full-time PhD students from any discipline
      When: One to six months between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020
      Support: On-campus accommodation on a shared room basis will be provided

    • Hosting of the Nordic Centre Biannual Conference in 2020
      The conference can be in any academic area, but must take place at Nordic Centre in Shanghai in 2020, and include researchers from member institutions on both the Nordic and Chinese side. Preference will given to applications with more member universities represented.
