Writers' Exchange

As part of the India Today/Copenhagen Tomorrow project the University of Copenhagen, Aarhus University and Gyldendal Publishers are organizing are series of literature events under the title “India: Literature Now - Writers’ Exchange”.

Three prominent Indian writers – Mridula Garg, Githa Hariharan and Manu Joseph – will visit Denmark for two weeks this autumn to do readings and lectures at the universities and Gyldendal.

“The contemporary role of literature in India and Denmark”
- A meeting and dialogue between Indian and Danish writers

Organized by Gyldendal Publishers

The three Indian writers will be part of a panel where they interact with three Danish writers – Kirsten Thorup, Astrid Saalbach and Carsten Jensen – who in return will visit the Jaipur Literature Festival in India in January 2013.
