Korea and China Mapping

The University of Copenhagen’s management team has assigned Asian Dynamics Initiative (ADI) and ThinkChina.dk to:

  • carry out a Korea mapping
  • update the existing China mapping

The two mappings should include all activities and collaborations that UCPH has with and/or on Korea and China in the areas of research and education (research projects, exchange, partnerships etc.)

Korea mapping

The decision to conduct a mapping of Korea activities and collaborations was taken by UCPH’s cross-faculty Korea working group led by pro-rector for research and innovation, Thomas Bjørnholm.

Since 2015 the Korea group has focused on strengthening the university's collaboration with Korea and on investigating the potential to create a Korea platform at UCPH. The mapping will be an important element in this process.

Staff at UCPH who are involved in Korea-related research and education activities, e.g. research projects, exchange, partnerships etc. are kindly asked to contribute information about their activities by filling in the online form.

China Mapping

The latest mapping of UCPH’s China activities was conducted in 2014. The collected information is available on ThinkChina.dk’s website

The continuous mapping of UCPH’s China activities is important in order to highlight and develop the university’s China resources and relations with Chinese partners. Furthermore, UCPH’s leadership hopes to include more scholars and activities in the China think tank, ThinkChina.dk, and in the newly formed network for staff members with relations to China, UCPH China Staff Association.

Staff at UCPH who are involved in China-related research and education activities, e.g. research projects, exchange, partnerships etc. are kindly asked to contribute information about their activities by filling in the online form.
