China Talks: Ding Chun

China’s current growth model is characterized by uneven wealth distribution and a number of demographic challenges, including a growing elderly population. But how are China’s social security systems being reformed to address issues like poverty and social insurance? The talk addresses such welfare-oriented reforms in light of China’s recent economic and social development.

Professor Ding Chun is the Director of Fudan University’s Centre for European Studies, and as a Jean Monnet Chair, a highly distinguished economics researcher.
