Seminar and Guest lecture on Confucianism

Daniel A. Bell, professor of ethics and political theory, Tsinghua University, Beijing 


On 18 February 2009 the University of Aarhus
hosts a one-day seminar on 'Confucianism, Past and Present: Eastern, Western, contemporary and historical perspectives' with Professor Daniel A. Bell as the main speaker. Professor Bell will present a part of his detailed studies into the way Confucianism is at work in contemporary China and how this relates to Confucian classics. This is followed by presentations by Danish scholars, whose work on Confucianism will be brought into discussion with Bell's theories.
