Prize UCL-Jacquemin/KULeuven-LICOS
We are very pleased to announce that the Chair Jacquemin of the Université Catholique de Louvain and the LICOS Research Centre of KULeven (Belgium) will award a prize also at the ETSG 2011 in Copenhagen. This year the prize will be for the best paper in the domain of "Heterogeneous Firms and Trade Policy". Full papers (submitted by the deadline of 12 August) dealing with issues regarding heterogeneous firms and trade policies may be considered for the prize. The prize will be presented during the ETSG Conference by Professor Hylke Vandenbussche.
Prize awarded by the WTO
We are very pleased to announce that the WTO will award the third annual WTO Essay Award for Young Economists at the ETSG 2011 in Copenhagen. More details are available from the WTO website.
Presentation Facilities
All of the rooms being used for sessions are equipped with overhead projectors and data projectors connected to personal computers. Powerpoint and Acrobat software will be installed on all machines. If you wish to use a data projector, please bring your presentation on a USB memory stick or CD-ROM. Files can be loaded onto the computers during the breaks. Due to time pressure within sessions, it will not be possible to connect your own laptop to the projectors.
Conference schedule
Please note that the conference will begin in the early afternoon of Thursday September 8 and will end late afternoon of Saturday September 10.
Registration
Please remember that all participants, regardless of whether they present papers, will be required to pay a fee for registration in Copenhagen. This has been set at €60. Notice that this is only a fraction of the per capita cost, but will help in keeping ETSG conferences viable.
