East and West PhD course at LIFE
The Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Copenhagen is running an annual PhD course on the topic 'Food, Medicine & Philosophy in East and West'. The course starts in November 2008.
Part of the 3 week course is placed in Copenhagen at KU, another part in Guangzhou and Hong Kong, China. The aim is to let PhD students better know the basis of their own research by looking at the some contrasts between East and West in the Food, Medicine & Philosophy areas. There is a long list of both Danish and Chinese experts as course lecturers.
There is still room for a few more students for the 2008 course - especially from the human and societal sciences (HUM, SAMF) as the course aims to have a good mix of Chinese as well as Danish students, and a range from natural sceinces (Food, Medicine) to the other main fields.
It is also possible only to participate in the part of the course that takes place in Copenhagen. Master students are also invited to sign up.
