Bio: Aamir Mufti is Professor of Comparative Literature at UCLA. He was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. He is the author of Enlightenment in the Colony: The Jewish Question and the Crisis of Postcolonial Culture (Princeton University Press, 2007), and Forget English! Orientalisms and World Literatures (Harvard University Press, 2016).
