Coastal Communities and Disaster: Perspectives from Asia

This workshop is designed as an avenue for Japanese scholars from Tohoku University’s Centre for Northeast Asian Studies (CNEAS) and International Research Institute of Disaster Science (IRIDeS) to share their on-going research from the JSPS project “Local Knowledge and Disaster Risk Reduction Research in Regional Agriculture and Fisheries Reconstruction in Tsunami Affected Areas” with international disasters specialists and scholars.
