Nosheen Ali will give the keynote address at the South Asia across the Nordic Region conference (SANR) on 27 May 3:45-4:45pm (Copenhagen time/CEST)
Nosheen Ali is a sociologist, author, and activist currently serving as Global Faculty-in-Residence at The Gallatin School, New York University. She is the author of Delusional States: Feeling Rule and Development in Pakistan’s Northern Frontier (Cambridge University Press, 2019). The book was awarded the 2021 Bernard Cohn Book Prize for outstanding and innovative scholarship for a first single-authored monograph on South Asia, by the Association for Asian Studies.
