Free online resources available at AsiaPortal

AsiaPortal is offering free online access to a range of online and physical resources.

China Core Newspapers Full-text Database (CCND)
This database consists of 633 titles Chinese newspapers of which 164 are national and 469 titles are local,  from 2000 onwards, and incl. e g Renmin ribao, Beijing Ribao, Guangming Ribao, etc. All titles included can be found under the tab Newspaper navigation on the website.

Taiwan Resource Center for Chinese Studies (TRCCS) at Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies
The Taiwan Resource Center for Chinese Studies (TRCCS) at the TORS Center of Knowledge at the Southern Campus of the University of Copenhagen is the result of a cooperation agreement between the National Central Library of Taiwan (NCL) on the one hand and Department of Cross-cultural and Regional Studies (ToRS) together with NIAS Library on the other hand. The agreement includes a TRCCS book collection, a gift from NCL, with titles from Taiwan which will be physically located at ToRS Center of Knowledge, a number of e-resources which will be available to member institutions of the Nordic NIAS Council (NNC) via the Asiaportal, as well as  exchange of information regarding new publications on Taiwan and Chinese studies,  and assistance for  academic or professional events outside Taiwan. The book collection at ToRS will be updated annually with new titles. 

On trial at the AsiaPortal :  e-books collection from ISEAS - Yosuf Ishak Institute in Singapore.
ISEAS - The Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS),is a leading research center dedicated to the study of socio-political, security, and economic trends and developments in Southeast Asia and its wider geostrategic and economic environment. ISEAS Publishing disseminates important research and analyses from and about Southeast Asia to the rest of the world and is the largest publisher of academic books that focuses on Southeast Asian politics, economics and social issues. This collection of ISEAS e-books covers a selection of 594 titles from 1980 - 2017. The collection is available for all NNC institutions.
The books can be read online only during the trial period which will run until 30 September 2018.
