Grants available: Nordic Centre in India

The Nordic Centre in India (NCI) is offering grants exclusively for researchers at NCI member Universities.

NCI Academic Activity Grant:

Who can apply: Doctoral level researchers and above located at NCI member universities in collaboration with colleagues at another member university and Indian partners.
What is covered: NCI will provide a maximum one-time payment of up to 3500 Euros.

Deadline for applying:
Spring 2019 Call: May 15th, 2019
Fall 2019 Call: October 15th, 2019

Ganga Mahal Scholar in Residency Programme

Who can apply: NCI member university scholars who are engaged with India as part of their academic research or planned projects.

What will be provided: A travel grant of up to 500 Euros along with one month of free stay at Karlstad University’s India Study Centre that is located at Ganga Mahal at Varanasi.

Deadline: April 15th, 2019

NCI Travel Grant

Who can apply: Doctoral level researchers and above located at NCI member universities

What is covered: NCI will provide a one-time payment of 500 Euros for the purpose of travelling to and from India.
