Postdoc Kuan-Jen Chen wins translation prize!

We are happy to announce that Dr. Kuan-Jen Chen's Chinese co-translation of Professor Barak Kushner’s book; Men to Devils, Devils to Men: Japanese War Crimes and Chinese Justice has been named "Best Translation of the 2021" by the Openbook Award in Taiwan. 

Kuan-Jen Chen joined the University of Copenhagen earlier this year as an ADI-NIAS Postdoctoral fellow, and has inspired us all with his extensive knowledge of Cold War history, modern East Asian history, as well as US foreign policy.
