ADI Funding 2016

Call for applications

The Asian Dynamics Initiative invites researchers (including PhD fellows) employed at the Faculty of Humanities or the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Copenhagen,  to submit applications for financial support of max 10.000 DKK for Asia related activities, projects and travels in 2016.

The available funds amount to max 100.000 DKK.

All expenses must be settled by the end of this year, which means you can only apply for funding for events and travels beginning and ending within 2016. 

ADI will not fund salary replacement (frikøb) to buy out teaching responsibilities. Nor activities which have already taken place.

For travel and fieldwork applications, priority may be given to applicants who have not
previously received funding from ADI.

The deadline for application submission is 25 August 2016. The ADI Steering Committee will assess the submitted applications. Applicants can expect an answer by 2 September 2016.

The application should include:

• Description of activity and aim (1-2 pages)

• Budget

• Expected follow up and possible publication plans
