Call for proposals - Humanities

The Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies invites researchers at the Faculty of Humanities to submit applications for financial support for Asia related activities in 2009.

Researchers at the Faculty of Humanities can apply for funding of activities such as workshops, guest lectures, seminars or symposia as well as contributions for initiating new projects and network activities. It is also possible to apply for secretarial assistance.

Members of the ADI Steering Group from the Faculty of Humanities will act as Assessment Committee. The deadline for submission of proposals is 12 October 2009.

The Assessment Committee will evaluate applications as they are handed in. Applicants who submit on 12 October can expect to receive decisions on their application by 20 October 2009.

Applicants should be employed at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Copenhagen on a permanent basis.

The project or initiative must relate to Asia and to the ADI.

The application - no more than 3 pages - should include:

• Description of the project
• Introduction to the subject and scientific goals
• Detailed budget
• Expected follow up and possible publication plans
