New ADI Postdoc

Mariner Padwa will be taking up his postdoc position under ADI on 15 March 2010. He has a PhD from Inner Asian and Altaic Studies at Harvard University. Padwa has participated in archaeological fieldwork in Pakistan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. His dissertation deals with the history, archaeology, and geography of the ancient Krorainic oases in Chinese Turkestan (Xinjiang).

Mariner Padwa will be based at the Department for Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies.
