China's cities and climate change

ThinkChina.dk, the Centre for Cultural Studies in Sustainability, and the Fudan European China Centre are pleased to invite you to the workshop China’s cities and climate change.

The workshop explores sustainable city development in China, presenting three cases from Hangzhou and Shanghai that relate to China’s attempted transition towards a low-carbon society. Giving the three presentations are:

Yuan Ren, PhD, Professor of Demography and Urban Studies, School of Social Development and Public Policy (SSDPP), Deputy Director of Institute of Population Research (IPR), Fudan University, Shanghai

Nikolaj Vendelbo Blichfeldt, PhD Fellow, China Studies, Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies, University of Copenhagen

The presentations will be followed by a plenary discussion.
