Gæsteforelæsning - Doris Jedamski

On 25 August Dr. Doris Jedamski from Leiden University will visit NIAS to give a guest lecture entitled "The Chinese Malay contribution to the Understanding of a National Culture in Indonesia".

Dr. Doris Jedamski is specialized in comparative literary and cultural studies with a
regional focus on Indonesia. Her academic contributions include a monograph on
adaptations of Western popular novels in colonial Indonesia and an edited volume on
the reception and narration of the West in Asia and Africa.
