Prof. Morikawa will visit NIAS on his way from London, where he is to give a speech on Japan's Relations with Africa at Chatham House, and talk about Japan's African policy. Prof. Morikawa is the author of "Japan and Africa: Big Business and Diplomacy" (1997) and "Whaling in Japan: Power, Politics and Diplomacy" (2009), both published by Hurst Co., London. Prof. Morikawa studied in Helsingor, Denmark in 1972.
