The New Geopolitics of Gas
The Centre for Military Studies has the pleasure to host a lecture with energy expert, Dr. Agnia Grigas.
In her critically acclaimed book The New Geopolitics of Natural Gas, Dr. Agnia Grigas argues that we are in the midst of an energy revolution.
In the near future, Moscow’s political influence will erode as Russian shares in its traditional markets such as Poland and the Baltic States will fall. Concurrently, the European Union is negotiating Nord Stream II, and the United States will enjoy opportunities, but also face challenges in leveraging its newfound energy clout. How will that reshape relations with European states, and rising Asian powers?
Centre for Military Studies has the pleasure to host a lecture with Dr. Agnia Grigas, who will address this question and more. Deputy Director, Kristian Søby Kristensen will moderate the debate.
This event is organised in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Kingdom of Denmark.
